It is always a Big Day in the wedding industry when hard nosed commerce hitches itself to colourful show business at the annual Scottish Wedding Show at the SECC in Glasgow.
This year promises to be better than ever with a record turnout of exhibitors, special events and side shows. And no doubt there will also be a record number of engaged couples saying I do at the SECC box office.
Highlights of the weekend of 20 to 21 September 2008 include free make up sessions, free cocktail tasting, and free wine tasting along with the usual catwalk displays of nuptial finery.
All that and more than 300 of Scotland’s leading wedding suppliers trying to persuade you to buy your kilt, wedding dress, sporran and garter from them.
If you are planning a Scottish wedding now or even for 2009, this is one event you won’t want to miss.
