Eat Well at the Watermill
We think Scottish food and drink deserves a better reputation and we do our best to exceed our guests' expectations.
We have a restaurant and a cafe bar ready to cater for your needs and tastes. Hammills is our main dining room while Miller's is our more informal lounge bar. Eat wherever the mood takes you and then perhaps a good malt whisky at the bar to end the evening?
Sunday Carvery
Every Sunday, Hammill's restaurant at the Watermill lays on a carvery for guests and visitors, featuring at least three joints of meat and a bright and colourful selection of vegetables. It is an ideal way to kick off a leisurely Sunday afternoon with family and friends. Two courses cost £9.95, three courses just £11.95.
Roast of the Day
Thanks to a successful nationwide hunt, we are now the proud owners of a magnificent antique carving trolley, from which we serve Chef Fred's roast of the day. Available both in the restaurant and in the bar, the roast of the day is likely to be roast gammon, beef or a cracking piece of roast pork.
